Brij Mohan Vaish, CEO
Brij has over 30 years of operating experience in the Asian electronics and data processing industries. He currently serves as a director of Indian Technological Products, Pvt. Ltd., a New Delhi-based firm engaged in the manufacture and distribution of computer and electronic components. Brij has also served a five-year term on the board of International Data Processing Ltd, New Delhi, a software and data processing services company.
Brij is also the founder of TRF(The Restoring Force), a non-profit organization dedicated to providing career counseling and life direction advisory services to underprivileged youth in rural India. He has been honored by the President of India with an Entrepreneurship Award for his outstanding contributions to the Indian small scale industrial sector. Brij holds a BE degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Roorkee (now Indian Institute of Technology), India and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University.
Ajay Jaiman, Head - Strategy and New Business Initiatives
Ajay has over 17 years of experience in multinational corporations as well as start-ups, in all aspects of general management, strategy, business development, product development and consulting across three continents. At Quadrant, he heads strategy and new business initiatives, leading the company’s publishing and new media engagements.
Prior to Quadrant, Ajay was at NIIT, India’s largest IT training and e-learning company. At NIIT, Ajay was Practice Leader responsible for all content development projects for higher education. His team developed hundreds of hours of e-learning content and over 200 custom textbooks for university systems in the USA. He has also led research and consulting assignments with universities, schools well as with governments in India and abroad.
In his last assignment in NIIT, he was heading the International Business Development function, managing engagements with governments and corporations across Africa and Asia. Prior to that Ajay founded and led a small children’s publishing start-up, which grew to become one of India’s largest and most respected multimedia publishing companies. Pitara (www.pitara.com) continues to have a deep international following, especially in schools, across the world. Ajay continues to be on the board of Pitara Kids Network Private Limited.
Arti Jaiman, Head - Content Development
Arti has over 17 years of experience as a reporter, writer, editor and content consultant, gathered during stints with newspapers, publishing houses, content outsourcing companies and Internet start-ups.
Arti started her career in journalism as a writer with the Arts pages of The Economic Times in 1991. During her six-year-stint with the paper, Arti wrote extensively on theatre, education, special education and arts, design and literature. She then joined the publishing house Katha, working on some of their prize-winning children’s books. In 1998, Arti co-founded Pitara Kids Network (www.pitara.com), an online magazine for children between the ages 4 to 14 years, which draws upon an Asian (and primarily Indian) socio-cultural context for inspiration. She has subsequently written on education, children’s literature, parenting, and reviewed fiction and non-fiction for mainstream English newspapers like The Hindu and Tehelka. Arti has worked as a senior content consultant with Woodapple Interactive, and written extensively for a start-up travel portal, as well as in-depth industry-specific features for the website www.ibef.org an India-industry site run by the Confederation of Indian Industry.
At Quadrant, Arti heads the Content Development team. She is the Managing Director of Pitara Kids Network Private Limited, which is an affiliate company of Quadrant Infotech.
Arti has a Masters degree in Journalism from Indiana University, Bloomington, USA, a Post Graduate Diploma in Communications from Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi and a BA in English from Delhi University, Delhi, India.
